Patrick Grogan Brown

Patrick Grogan Brown, photographer

Red neon motel signs and looping trails of red, white, green and blue light, mirrored into a symmetrical figure

Eleven bodies of work, each its own collection. They range from neon light drawn across the Vegas Strip and a cathedral transformed by light and dark to the Death Valley desert in bloom and in sugar colors. Others follow the boardwalks and beaches of the California coast and the pelicans of the bay. Turn the band to browse this week’s featured collections.

About

I make photographs of people, places and animals, and in my own work I make photographs of light itself.

Write two or three sentences here about where you're based, how long you've been working, and who you photograph for. Mention the kinds of commissions you take on, so a visitor knows what to ask you for.

Use this paragraph for how you work: your approach on a shoot, what you care about, or what draws you to neon and long exposure.
